The story of a photographer


I am a professional photographer currently based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Having picked up my first DSLR at the age of 19 and sold his first print at age 21, my passion has been photography for over 3 years.

I specialize in portraiture, product photography, photojournalism and landscape; the latter being incidental to my travels, rather than being the reason for my travels.

While I have a fascination with the philosophy of portrait photography, I’d like my portfolio to speak for itself. But one of the challenges I enjoy when shooting a portrait is to try and entice some of the spirit, some of the soul of the person and communicating something about the person that they may not know about themselves or communicate a part of their being that hasn’t been communicated before.

I’ve enjoyed success in putting together modeling portfolios and feel that I have an understanding of what is needed to put together a set of photos that shows the person’s ability in front of the camera. All the models I have photographed have all been offered or have taken on modeling work, using the portfolios I’ve put together as a key tool to get the work.
